She has been a constant in the women’s change room at MNP for more than 30 years and now cleaning staff member Margarita is hanging up the mop. Here are the details of her retirement party if you want to drop by to congratulate her:
Tuesday May 7th from 1:00pm-3:00pm at MNP Community and Sport Centre
There will be food, beverages and lots of celebrating. Come out and show your support to the one-of-a-kind Margarita
I first met Margarita in the 80’s. This was soon after her family arrived from Latin America when her son Miguel began swimming with my daughter Sarah at the Patriots’ Swim club. (Richard McGill era) We got to know each other while waiting for our kids’ practices to finish and volunteering at many many swim meets. After Miguel finished Law School I had a great legal-beagle to help my Engineering consulting business! Margarita is such a cheerful person, and I have been inspired to have known and conversed with her these past 35 or-so years.
HAPPY RETIREMENT MARGARITA!!!! Thanks for looking after us!!!!
