2016 CMSC Meet Results

Congratulations to all of the swimmers who competed at our Swim Meet yesterday!

As more statistics come in I will be adding comments below – and you can help, if you set a record please pass the information along. I know that our 280 Men’s Relay team has some celebrating to do!

For swimmers from across the country we’re going to do it again next year. Talisman is a great facility to race in! And it would be a great way to take a great Canadian vacation by heading to the Rockies for some skiing after the meet is over.

March Training Plan

The Training Plan for March will soon be emailed out and has been entered into the online Calendar.

A PDF copy, suitable for framing, is attached to allow you to proudly display your workout regime in your cubicle at work.

Million Metre Challenge Update

It’s been a while since we’ve looked at the progress of CMSC’s swimmers in the Million Metre Challenge.

Our President, Rob Harris, is leading the way as he recently blasted past the 2,000,000 metre mark. Seven other swimmers have logged at least one million. The full list is below.

Warm-up/warm-down lanes provided during the meet

Eligibility: All Masters swimmers registered with Swimming Canada or their provincial delegations, and FINA affiliates.

Entries: Swimmers are limited to a maximum of six (6) individual events plus relays.

Entries must be submitted in Hy-Tek format. A Hy-Tek Event File for this meet will be available for download from www.swimming.ca. The completed Hy-Tek Entry File can be uploaded onto www.swimming.ca.

The Hy-Tek Team Manager Lite is available as a free download at http://www.hy-tekltd.com/downloads.html

For Swimmers entering from outside of Canada, the Hy-Tek Entry File may be emailed to the Meet Manager at meetmanager@cmsc.ab.ca.
