The last weekend of March, Calgary Masters Swim Club sent 16 athletes up to Edmonton for Alberta 2025 Masters Provincials. Over the two days of competition, our swimmers won 42 Golds, 26 Silvers, and 11 Bronzes to place us 3rd overall! Everyone crushed some best times and tried some new events resulting in a very strong showing despite our small crew relative to some other clubs.
Some highlights of the weekend were:
Hannah Devereux who took home gold in all 5 of her events!
Courtney Gregory who won gold in all 5 of her events!
Daryn Hodgins who won gold in 5 of 6 of his events!
And our own Coach Callie Stirling who stood atop the podium in all 6 of her events!
On top of those amazing individual performances, our relay teams took home 6 1st place finishes as well!
What a great effort after some long days of competition!
