On the weekend of May 22-24, five Calgary Masters Swim Club athletes travelled to Windsor, ON for the Canadian Masters Championships!
Brent Bester, George Colbert, Stuart Dalgleish, Daryn Hodgins, and Tara Reaburn combined for 6 Gold, 7 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals!
Brent and George beat their own club records in 200m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly respectively.
Daryn put up his fastest times in the 200m and 1500m Freestyle since 2018, and fastest 100m Backstroke time since 2017!
Tara set personal bests in the 50m, 100m, and 200m Freestyle.
Stuart swam an absolute gauntlet, competing in the 400m Freestyle, 1500m Freestyle, 200m Backstroke, and 400m Individual Medley, among others.
Our men also managed to get together for two speedy relays spanning 4 age groups!
We are so proud of them for making the trip out and competing at such a high level. Can’t wait for next season to see them do it again!
